About Shabby Scrap Designs

My name is Deanna Patterson. I have been married to my very own technical director for 33 years, and we have 12 children. I’m a grandmother of 12, teacher, singer, and now a digital designer. I live in Texas and started paper scrapping years ago when scrapping meant taping photos into a non-acidfree album.

One afternoon I came across an ad in the back of a scrapbooking magazine for a free digital quick page download. I went to the Internet, downloaded the quick page, and made a digital layout. I was hooked and began my adventure into digital scrapbooking in 2005. Shabby Scrap Designs has become my trademark across the Internet.

I love the shabby grungy look with a little whimsy added in just for fun. And my kits must have color. I love combining lots of colors and textures in my kits for added versatility. Clusters, swirls, sequins, and a hodge podge of elements coordinate with the papers in each kit.

I want you to know that adventure is all around us. It doesn’t matter where you are or who you are, you can have an adventure anywhere, anytime. Our lives are made up of moments. Some may be more grand than others, some more sad, some more fun. Savor your moments for all they are worth and record your adventures. And what better way to preserve your memories than by scrapping them.
