Mega-What?
When my daughter was in day care, one of the ladies called her Mega-Doodle and the name stuck! Since my husband and my daughter are my daily inspiration, it seemed appropriate to have Mega-Doodle Inspired as my design name.
Mega-Who?
My real name is Brandy and I live in Virginia with my family. My daughter, Megan, is now 2 years old and a bundle of joy. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Robert, for over 6 years.
I was in the military for almost eight years as a Computer Systems Administrator. I did a lot of web and server work during that time. I’ve always been into web and graphics design. If I wasn’t doing web at work, I was doing freelance at home! I built our first family website shortly before our 1 year tour in Korea so that family could keep in touch with us.
I got out of the military when my daughter was 6 months old. My husband is still in the military and we didn’t want to take the chance on both of us getting deployed at the same time. Shortly after getting out of the military (Sept 07), I joined my first Creative Team! I was in love! And eventually (one month later) I was overwhelmed with a desire to know how this lady made such fabulous kits!
That’s when I joined the Element Team at ScrappinFreestyle (Oct 07). Although the team had its ups and downs, it was a blast! I completed every PS Tutorial I could find! = ) I had a great mentor there (Bannerwoman) that helped me out a lot. Her friendship has been priceless!
In Feb 08, I opened my first store at ScrappinFreestyle! Dawn is the owner there and felt I had great potential! (Thanks Dawn!) I continue to work on tutorials every week! I learn more and more everyday about advertising and designing! = )
Now, a year and a half later… I’m the proud owner of The Mega-Doodle Inspired Store and {f.o.r.e.v.e.r} Free Downloads. I also sell my designs at the following stores: Commercial-Use, MyScrapShop, DigiScrapWarehouse, and Digital Scrap Designs.
