About The Scrappy Kat
My name is Katina, a.k.a. The Scrappy Kat or just Kat, and I live in southwestern Michigan. I am a SAHM to a wonderful 3 year old little boy named Logan and have been married to my husband Glen for 7 years.
I started paper scrapping about 12 years ago, because I wanted to carry on the tradition that my grandmother had began. Then I started digi-scrapping a couple years ago and was instantly addicted. Because I enjoyed digi-scrapping so much, I decided to try my hand at designing and discovered I loved it even more. Being new to designing, I was ecstatic when I was offered a designer position at Stuff To Scrap. I enjoy being part of the STS community whole-heartedly. The designers and forum members there are wonderful and I can’t wait to login first thing every morning…maybe I will see you around there sometime.
My program of choice is GIMP (though I have been known to use PSE too), which I love to use to scrap pages of my son and my little poodle Pepe and I use them as inspirations for my kits too.
